Fall is right around the corner! No really, it is next week! With every new season comes a list of home maintenance tasks that need to be done. Regular maintenance is important for keeping your home in tiptop shape! We have put together a list of things that you should do this season!

Exterior:

• Rake Leaves
• Examine roof, shingles, and siding and make repairs as needed
• Clean gutters and downspouts
• Drain and winterize exterior plumbing
• Check exterior hardware and make sure locks are secure
• Examine exposed wood for insect damage
• Check tree limbs to see if any need trimmed

Interior:

• Have your furnace inspected before turning it on the first time
• Replace the filter in your furnace
• Clean grill for air ducts
• Check for cracks and gaps around windows and doors
• Replace the batteries in your smoke and carbon monoxide detectors
• Check your fire extinguisher and replace if needed
• Check pipes and faucets for leaks
• Take a peek in the attic to check for any leaks
